When a guest/customer orders one or more of Tambohus Kro's services and, as part of this, provides their personal information to Tambohus Kro, they simultaneously give their consent for the guest's/customer's/supplier's personal information to be processed by Tambohus Kro.
The same applies to any personal information that suppliers to Tambohus Kro provide to Tambohus Kro in connection with submitting bids or entering into agreements with Tambohus Kro.
Personal information is collected by Tambohus Kro in the following ways:
Collection and processing of personal information, as mentioned above, will always be in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Video surveillance, set up at our entrances/exits, at cash registers, and at particularly valuable inventory, is implemented as part of crime prevention and also serves as a security measure for the comfort of both employees and guests.
Tambohus Kro collects the following personal information:
A guest/customer or supplier may voluntarily and at their own discretion provide Tambohus Kro with additional personal information that they believe may be relevant for Tambohus Kro's service to the guest/customer/supplier, or that the individual believes should be provided for security reasons.
This could, for example, include information about:
If a guest/customer/supplier voluntarily and at their own discretion chooses to provide such information, Tambohus Kro considers this as consent to register and store these sensitive details about the individual.
In addition to the information that Tambohus Kro receives directly from guests/customers/suppliers, Tambohus Kro may in some cases obtain or process additional information received from third parties, such as a travel agency, another intermediary, or an employee of the company where the registered person is employed.
In cases where this occurs, the respective third party is obligated to inform the relevant guests/customers/suppliers about Tambohus Kro's terms and conditions as well as Tambohus Kro's privacy policy. It is also the responsibility of the concerned third party to ensure that there is a legal basis for the collection and processing of such information, including obtaining any necessary consent for the processing of sensitive information if applicable.
Tambohus Kro utilieses DIBS www.dibs.dk (Nets),for the processing of payments with debit and credit cards. DIBS and Tambohus Kro are approved and certified by Pengeinstitutternes Betalingssystem (now Nets Holding www.nets.eu/dk-da).
Tambohus Kro retains the information provided by the guest/customer/supplier for bookings and reservations for up to 2 years, after which the information is deleted.
In addition to handling the order, the provided information is only used if a guest/customer/supplier, for example, contacts with questions or if there are errors in the order.
Tambohus Kro only collects personal information that is necessary to fulfill the agreements made with guests/customers/suppliers for the delivery of services, such as an overnight stay or the purchase/sale of products or services. The content of each individual agreement/service determines the specific personal information that Tambohus Kro collects and processes, and it determines the purpose of the collection.
The primary purposes of collecting and processing personal information are:
Meeting legal requirements, such as the obligation to register overnight guests in accordance with immigration laws and passport regulations.
Tambohus Kro will primarily process personal information because it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with Tambohus Kro in which a guest/customer or a supplier is a party. This may include, for example, hotel stays, meeting arrangements, and/or the handling and fulfillment of collaboration and supplier agreements.
Additionally, Tambohus Kro will process personal information in connection with bookings for overnight stays, the organization of meetings, events, conferences, etc., as well as prior to entering into supplier agreements.
In some cases, Tambohus Kro's processing of personal information will take place as part of pursuing a legitimate/business interest that outweighs the interests of the guest/customer/supplier (the data subject).
Such a legitimate interest may include activities such as compiling statistics, conducting customer surveys, marketing, and analyzing general guest/customer behavior, with the intention of generally improving the experience at Tambohus Kro and the quality of Tambohus Kro's services and products.
If a guest/customer provides specific personal preferences or considerations during their stay/visit at Tambohus Kro, such as health information, disabilities, religious beliefs, or similar, Tambohus Kro only uses this information to ensure that the guest's/customer's personal preferences and health considerations are taken into account.
In some situations, Tambohus Kro may receive personal information from a third party, such as a travel agency, an agent, or similar, especially in connection with group bookings. When this occurs, the respective third party is required to inform the relevant guests/customers/suppliers about Tambohus Kro's terms and conditions, as well as the content of this privacy policy.
Tambohus Kro is also, as mentioned earlier in section 2.2, required by law to record various information about overnight guests. This information must be stored for a minimum of one year and a maximum of two years.
According to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation, data subjects (customers/guests/suppliers) have various rights.
If some of the information that Tambohus Kro has about the data subject is based on the data subject's consent, they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. This means that the information will be deleted or no longer used by Tambohus Kro. This does not apply to information that Tambohus Kro is legally obliged to keep, as mentioned in the section above.
The possibility to request deletion, etc., may be limited, however, due to the protection of other individuals' privacy, business secrets, intellectual property rights, and, for example, the ability to enforce potential legal claims.
The data subject can at any time request in writing from Tambohus Kro an overview and a copy of the personal information that Tambohus Kro possesses about them.
A written request to this effect must be signed by the registered person and contain his name, address, telephone number, e-mail address.
The data subject can also contact Tambohus Kro if the data subject believes that his personal data is being processed in violation of the law or in violation of other legal obligations, e.g. the agreement/contract that the registered person has with Tambohus Kro.
A written request is sent to Tambohus Kro, see contact information above under section 1
Tambohus Kro will, as far as possible, send it to the registered person's postal address within 1 month of receiving the registered person's written request.
If the data subject requests correction and/or deletion of his personal data, Tambohus Kro will assess whether the conditions for the request have been met, and Tambohus Kro will, in that case, carry out changes or deletion as soon as possible.
Tambohus Kro reserves the right to reject requests that have the character of harassing repetition, that require disproportionate technical measures (e.g. development of a new IT system), that affect the protection of other data subjects' personal data or in other situations where it will be disproportionately resource-intensive or very complicated to meet the request.
Tambohus Kro protects the data subject's personal data and has laid down guidelines that protect the data subject's personal data against unauthorized disclosure and unauthorized access or knowledge of it.
Only the persons/employees at Tambohus Kro who, by virtue of their job function, need the personal data of the registered persons, have access to it. Tambohus Kro continuously checks that there is no unauthorized access to the personal data of the registered persons.
Tambohus Kro regularly backs up the registered personal data. In the event of a security breach, where there is a high risk of misuse of the registered personal data, including e.g. identity theft, financial loss, loss of reputation or other form of abuse, Tambohus Kro will notify the data subjects of the security breach as soon as possible.
Tambohus Kro's safety procedures are continuously reassessed and updated in relation to technological developments.
Tambohus Kro makes use of a number of external suppliers of IT services, IT systems, payment solutions, etc. Tambohus Kro enters into ongoing data processing agreements with all Tambohus Kro' suppliers, whereby it is also ensured in relation to external data processors that these maintain a necessary and high level of protection with regard to the data subjects' personal data.
In order to be able to fulfill agreements with those registered and to meet the needs of guests and customers, Tambohus Kro shares selected personal data with external suppliers such as restaurants, hotels, etc. This happens either by overbooking at the hotels or e.g. at the guest's request for a restaurant booking.
Tambohus Kro also shares and passes on the registered persons' personal data internally within the group, including to sister companies. The purpose of this sharing is to be able to give the guest/customer the best handling and service, regardless of which hotel or which department in the Tambohus Kro group the guest/customer uses.
Tambohus Kro is in some cases legally obliged to pass on personal data or obliged to do so as a result of a decision by a public authority. Tambohus Kro deletes your personal data when Tambohus Kro's legal obligation ends or when the purpose for collecting and processing the information is no longer present. As a general rule, financial data is stored for 5 years and other data for 2 years from the last visit.

Regardless of which browser you use, you can adjust the browser settings so that it does not save cookies. Some browsers only allow you to adjust this setting on certain websites only.
